Above all I am excited because we just got the first snow on the ground in the Pittsburgh area.!!!!!

Sweet. So that should be hitting us here in J-town in about an hour or so. Won't be the first snow on the ground though, we got an inch or so on Monday.

I'm at UPJ for halloween weekend. I used to go here for my first 3 semesters. I'm down on Mayluth St. near goodwill on Scalp Ave. Its starting to come down pretty hard now. I'll have some pictures up of this Mid-Atlantic stoke shortly. Until then, a pic of me from UPJ's ski slopes from a few years back.

Damn it's a small world. I've hit that same jump, although it was several years ago.

Yeah I think that jump was winter of 03/04, so it was probably the same. I worked at SkiDen at the time. I hiked it upwards of 40 times one day trying to land 720's, but I never landed one. I probably only landed 5 jumps realizing that it wasnt even worth it to try for the extra rotation.
Which room are you in the LLC? I was in 252. If you go way back in the woods, there are some big dirt jumps that I built for mountain biking. There is actually some seriously steep (for the area) terrain back there with a decent amount of vertical. I'm thinking about trying to clear some of it out before the first big dump comes so I can ski and hike it.

Wait a minute, I think I know you. Did you try to teach at seven springs one year? I was an instructor there. Were you were friends with Dan Porter?

Hahaha yeah, porter and I were roomies in 252. I'm coming back for a second shot at teaching this year. I got screwed last time cause I'm a terrible public speaker. I was first in line on the reserve list and Fred dicked me around all season about having me come in to train and he'd never follow through. See you on sunday I guess!
