Late Season STOKE! - UPDATE W/ PICS

This space is reserved for pics that I will download at work on Monday. It's been raining hard core down here in D-town. Over the past 3 days the Animas went from 300cfs to 7900cfs when we hit it tonight. It peaked at just over 4000cfs this spring, so we almost doubled that with one storm. Absolutely insane. 15 foot standing waves, huge playholes in places where there's normally nothing there... absolutely nuts. This will be one of those days that people around here will talk about for decades to come.

    Nice

Once avery couple of years it rains hard around here before the snow level drops. It is a treat to get the short little mini fall creek season.

    Bring on the bigwater pics.

The upper part of the upper was only at like 1000 at the put in, but there was supposedly a shit load of water coming in from Needle Creek and Cascade Creek, so the upper was actually pretty mellow, but Rockwood Box was at like 4K....a VERY scary level for that box.
