Would these classes be good for an absolute newbie jong? One who has never been in the backcountry but would like to experience it (with the right knowledge, equipment & skills to use them of course)?

I'll come to one of the Denver ones, and I'll probably bring 4 or 5 friends as well. I'm sure all my broke-ass PT school buds will be stoked on free bc education.

edit: Messiah Baptist Church? Can we drink beer? Maybe we can raid the communion wine.
Not on here much anymore. Drop me an email if you want to contact me. Have a wonderful winter!

OMG, yes. I can't even begin to say how much I owe him through formal and informal training and friendship. An amazing person in every single way. A real live snow guru and a such sweet soul. Ok, I'll stop gushing...

Halsted, I hope you are really happy. You and FOBP can do great things, I think. Looking forward to seeing you at Loveland later this month. And your knees, I hope they're ready!

That's a big 10-4. Brett might try to hug you again though.

I'll be there for one of the Denver sessions. I need to get on board with the FOBP support as well...I assume one can "sign up" at the session?
