How about a little (CH) stoke? TR: Becca 3123m
Becca d'Audon = The Oldenhorn
Tsanfleuron Glacier
It was just one of those days when you finally check off an item from the list of things you have been wanting to do for a long time, and finally it all came together and you got it done. It was today for me.
Short story followed by lots of pics, including a name those mountains quiz for the Swiss Alpes trivia buff. Answers to be posted in the next days, but you can play to win. The prize, some stoke; that is if you enjoy the pics and captions.
Longer story: I ski under this peak as much as possible. I see it looking majestic from a bike ride in my town. It is not much of a hike actually, but we sure did make a bit of deal out of it. In a way, it was good. But, it wasn't meant to be much more than it was, a nice out on the mountain, doing something fun and new, in nice hiking weather, on a Friday!

Looking into Combe d'Audon.

We were paid a visit by this creature of Les Diablerets,
Gypaète Barbu, the Bearded Vulture.

He flew a few tours around Becca d'Audon for us.

Question 1: Name those mountains.

Question 2: Name those mountains.

Question 2 again, wider view. Remember, it's a TR, it's for the pics.

Question 4: What is the purpose of this thing. Note an installation above it,
that might be related.

Question 5: Name that mountain.

Question 6: Did I ski that couloir this past season? Will I ski it again?

Answer to Question 5 is Becca d'Audon, the mountain that today was all about.
It is also known as The Oldenhorn, and that is the name I usually call it by.
Ski, Bike, Climb.
Resistence is futile.
