    Nordica Blower Mounting Position

I know it's a fairly new ski but I'm hoping to get some feedback from those of you who are on the Nordica Supercharger Blowers. Looks like there are two mounting lines. Which is preferred? Maybe in between or? I used the search function and couldn't find any info.

2conded. I'm on ride and it works well. For comparison, I mounted G4s on the line and 777s (similar ski to the nordica, only narrower) 1.5 cm back and they feel similar to the Nordicas on the ride line.

Resurrecting this thread, because I'm about to remount some blowers. The previous drilling means that my Sollies can either go .5cm back from the ride line or 1.5cm forward of it. I tend to like turny skis, so I'm inclined to go forward but everyone says these are already pretty turny.

I've got Praxis for powder days... these will be for everything else. What do you think?

I've gone 1.4 cm back on my remount (duke holes conflicted with sally holes). Will report back tomorrow on how they ski.

    I'd go back.

Mine are on the [ride] line and sometimes I feel out on the tips. You definitely don't want to be forward of "ride".

They are very turny, even twitchy at high speed, I'd prolly go back further if I had to do it over again.

I skied my blowers last year with solly's mounted on the ride line and have since remounted with dukes on the ride line as well.

They are great in powder but also a blast to rip GS turns down the hardpack with. I wouldn't go any further back, especially if they are not your dedicated powder boards.

Agreed. They ski short IMO, but the rear line works nicely for all-around.

I would think that if someone was on the 185's and felt they were overpowering the tips that they (a) either need the 193, or (b) need something stiffer that cannot be overpowered in the shovel.

I think I've decided to go back. .5cm is nothing whereas 1.5cm forward would be halfway between the two lines.

    Cheers kidwoo for the kuhnowledge.

Better get it right since these and my BC setup will be my only ride for two weeks of SLC and Jackson over the holidays.

I have mine 0.5cm forward of the Ride line, unless your running them on Groomers alot I wouldn't go with the +1.5
