Jeezuz, it was deep. And light. Only skied the morning so I could get back to work shipping skis, but - what a morning! Caught Punani and Ty in the line at Chair 6 at 8:30 for freshies into Funnel Chute. Then we found Arty and did it again. I lost them after my glasses fogged up, so I continued alone to the Wall, then the opening of Eagle Bowl. It was easy 2 to 4 feet deep. It was much deeper in the trees. Places like Funnel sluffed and left super deep piles below that did not compact. I was on the 179 Bros and had to change up to the 188s. At 210lbs, with that snow, they just couldn't keep me up on top of the chokingly light shit that has accumulated since Wednesday. Then went to Thunder Saddle, where it was insane. Ty called to say they hit Big Jims, an 50 footer doable only on a day like today. I'm sure an epic 666 TR will be coming tonite.
