Question NH Ski clubs for children?

Any one have any input on the Ski Clubs at Loon, Waterville Valley, or Cannon?
We are looking for a ski club that has great training and a free style program. We have a 2nd year J6 who is 7yo. Gunstock has no free style program and I would like for her to have options to try new things.

It's been a long time, but I grew up racing in the Franconia Ski Club on Cannon. No idea what's happened in the program in the last dozen years, but I've always thought Cannon was a pretty cool mountain to learn to carve on. The blue ice really forces you to get dialed in... and every once in a while you'll get pow days over on Mittersil.

There wasn't a freestyle program (that I knew of) back then, but things may have changed. That always seemed more of Watterville's BBTS (black and blue trail smashers, if you can believe it...) thing.

Best of luck! and get ready to do a lot of sharpenning...

I think your right that they do not have a freestyle program so I guess its BBTS or Loon. I like hanging at my tuning bench drinking beer tuning skis.

Check through it. I know some are "family clubs". Not sure about ones near 93 though.

Cannon does not have a freestyle program, but has an excellent racing program in conjunction with Franconia Ski Club. All freestylers go to Loon or Waterville.

The ski clubs listed at the eicsl website are lodging type of club. They usually don't offer skiing programs.

and yes, Cannon still have blue ice and mittersil can be amazing with snow. Come up for a tour of the woods.
