Breithorn TR 11-11-05
Breithorn is a 4,000m peak that rises up above the Klein Matterhorn lift station - about 75 min. skin from the top of the tram. Snow was variable, including suncrust, windslab, and creamy pow. All the shots are scenics as I did not have a partner.

Ooooh, so that's how you do that - thanks. My use of image tags and such is still fledgling at best.
Roo - Hikeable for sure (did so earlier in the year), but it would be kinda sloggy, as there is a flat plateau that separates Breithorn from Klein Matterhorn.

Beautiful pics, I love the Trokensteg. Has anyone ever skied that east face of the matterhorn?

I can't wait for my Euro trip in late Feb. Sure hope it snows a lot this winter.

Cool! What were the conditions like? Did you manage to drag up any teenage girls with you?

as soon as televerbier opens, I'll be there every weekend with the family. I can find a place to sleep for you if you like to spend some time in verb. Stay tuned!

Cool stuff, Colin.
I did the Breithorn about 12 years ago. It was my first 4,000m peak and it was then that I got hooked.
I'll be in Switzerland in early January, it's a shame I'll miss you.
