I always bring a couple Tylenol 3's and some ibuprofen - in case I find myself half-dead in a couloir.
...and if I'm skiing in Canada, some weed could come into the picture - though not as a pain reliever![]()

I use some Voltaren (diclofenac) for my knees...
Cliff, as a TV doctor you should really fill your bag up with the good stuff.
You may also want to bring shark repellent.
Damn, at first glance I thought maybe the real Cliff Huckstable had rejoined our ranks. Obviously, I was mistaken.
Ketamine if it's sunny. Straight up heroin otherwise.
adrenalin flows through my veins
I'm guessing that the loud and grouchy right wingers here are Oxy fans.
I've got a doctor friend who is an anethiesiologist. He has a serious drug collection in his "first and last" aid kit when he tours. Me, I just carry a bit of bud. I used to carry "the world's lightest sleeping bag" (acid) but it's been a few years since I replentished my supply
You are what you eat.

There's no such thing as bad snow, just shitty skiers.
This is way over my head but I think it is fucking hilarious.Originally Posted by Beaver
I would surely perish if I were to do that. I used to carry some bud with me, but now I mostly ski sober. The adrenaline rush is all I really need......and a good beer at the end of the run.Originally Posted by Beaver

personally, I run into enough trees without the help of anything else so I'm pretty much forced to keep it sober for the sake of my legs. At the end of the day though, a beer or two are mandatory.
mary-jane she's my girl.

Its not that I suck at spelling, its that I just don't care
I just wanna know if AKPM will hit 4000 posts by the time I wake up tomorrow morning.
Oh yeah, and caffeine.
yepper
A few years back you might have caught me with a collection of goodies like this:
"two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole multi colored collection of uppers, downers, laughers, screamers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls."
But I wasn't skiing any crazy shit, just mainly going to Resort mountains, ski for a few hours and party all night.
Oh, how the times change, now a days prolly only find me with some green and a couple tasty brews and some advil or something of the like.
A gay-rage full of toys. You can guess em.
I've got some great pain killers left over from my last knee surgery for the evening when my knees swell up. They put me to sleep like a baby. On the slopes I like a shot or two of tekillya...Just for that "competitive edge."
Piracetam for the altitude, Ibuprofen for the out-of-shape muscles.
Never liked getting altered on the hill. The one time I skied while shrooming (during B,B,&B 1993) was an almost continuous near-death experience, and cured me of ever wanting to do that again.
I skied on shrooms once. I skied like a freakin rockstar that day. When I look back though, I'm lucky I didnt hurt myself.
Or maybe you just think you skiied like a rock start.Originally Posted by Alyeska_Skibum
