Cool TR: 10.22.10 A Fresh Perspective.

With winter gradually creeping down the mountain, I've been able to find more and more worthwhile skiing with each outing. Today's line was a NW facing slope with about 10" of thick powder on top of a 12" crusty, supportive base. The snow level was above 10k, high for this time of year, but it made for nice, dense snow up high.

I ran into this guy on the way up. Changing back to white just in time.

The drifts up high were deep.

The clouds part and everything makes sense.

My best run of the season, so far.

As the sun sets, I leave winter and return to the autumn world below me.

Back home I enjoy a tasty beverage and wonder what's in store for tomorrow.

    Best run, indeed.

Nice TR. Thanks for bringing something to the Nothing Season around here.
