    2011/12 gear rumor mill.... yup

11/12 black diamond ski spotted about halfway through this video (the orange ones). looks really similar to the megawatt protos i saw kicking around the bird late last season. tapered tip, new cnc construction.

Legend Pro "replacement" = fatter Sultan 94. Same construction but 105mm waist, maybe a tad more early rise in the tip and a tad less sidecut.

I heard a rumor from a reputable source about the Gigawatt, a longer, stiffer, less rocker in the tail Megawatt..? I think its a mid-season release.

megawatt had no tail rocker. it was a big floppy donkey dick though.
Perhaps you'd be more comfortable on epicski or Paula's Ski Lovers, AltaNancy.

I was kind of drunk when I heard it...

The story I heard was about a few requests by BD telemark athletes for a bigger/longer/stiffer version of the Megawatt. Apparently the brass at BD listened after a few years of hounding.

No word on sizes yet that I have heard of, but I think a 185 is in the mix somewhere.

So, I've heard a few little bits. Volkl doing a Gotama shape, with metal, 111 underfoot. I can't remember it's name. Line Intuition (again a bit hazy on the name), metal, rockered tip and tail, 105 underfoot.

A few hours ago, Sage was telling us that he and Dana are "inspired" to design a new ski together
that will fit between the Bentchetler and Atlas. He said Atlas is a bit of a handful in some
of the situations he throws himself into (uh, yeah, pucker-city!), but Bentchetler is
sometimes not quite enough for him. Sounds like early stages now, not sure about release timing. The
only design element he revealed was he really prefers the gradual low-profile Atomic tip
design that can slice smoothly when needed, instead of the high-profile S7 tip design that can "jam" into stuff.
    That's all I got.

In "Light the Wick", it is clear these TGR athletes have the skills and balls to get the sick lines and footage
on ANY ski, but there are a hell of a lot of wheelies out of big-line high-consequence landings
with all these not-so-stiff rocker tails nowadays. I say bring back the reliable tail for the
big line airs, meaning not-so-stiff is OK, or rockered is OK, but NOT BOTH TOGETHER (and
I wonder if a better tail would have helped Dana avoid his knee-injury landing). Lastly,
next year's TGR movie will be extra sick if an anonymous donor paints a Katana graphic
onto a 198 RC112 and ships it to Mac.

Seth testing new skis in Las Lenas this summer, they look similar to the 2010-11 to me.

Can someone post a ridiculously fucking gargantuan pic of the 4FRNT YLE? Not sure about you guys but I've been meaning to check them out through a pair of backwards binoculars.
