If at first you don't succeed, keep not succeeding (POV)

Kirkwood was pretty damn fine today. I was going good until i wussed out at the end. (i'm paying xtra so you can go fullscreen, and it's worthless w/o it, so go fullscreen)

Dude, you need pole straps.

Thanks for the stoke, definitely making me regret not heading up this weekend. The Wood looked empty.

Interesting perspective, although you do loose a lot of peripheral. Solid stoke.

Dang. Good vid.

I especially like how you mixed in just enough of the sound from the mic to get the swooshing sound of speed without it getting annoying.

Don't you mean just in case your sarcasm meter "is" broken? The smiley explains all.

That being said, Leki does make some pole straps that will (should?) release under such circumstances.

very cool. been wanting snow like that, but we've been damned with either heavy-wet-sticky snow or ice all season.

never could stand them. used to have a shoulder that would pop out often so i never wore the straps anyway. i do drop my poles more now that they're gone, even though i was never using them.

Regarding polestraps, I also feel like I'm breaking my fucking wrists when I go over forewards and dive a pole with the straps on. I never wear them anymore.

Nice vid. Looks like you are still enjoying that same mini golf line down Vista. A also ski strapless. Mostly because I was under employed enough to get plenty of days with Powdork, and I never had time to strap up after getting off the lift or finishing a hike. (in quick mode - so insert sarcastic smile face here). And Powdork - don't be such a wuss. Finish your day like a man and slice through that meat grinder next time.

Saw you out there Saturday looking down into Big Trees w. TT around 1pm. You guys looked like you were headed for the corner area. Dogleg was still untouched when I hit it.
