Synopsis :
Taxi pickup in San Francisco to riding the Shadow lift at the Remarks takes only 24 hours.
FRIDAY! :
Skiing is so stupid.
Seat Slaves....
After 12 hours of leg crushing torture, the quaint island country comes into view....
Auckland arrival....no sleep = officially seeing blurred images....
Maybe a quick trip to Bali????
Only the finest literature for the 6'er on the connecting flight...
North Island....south of Auckland....not very white.
Southern Alps = Winterized

Sheepdog picks us up and we head straight to the slopes...

It was boring....
Snow was horrendous....
While Sheepdog and Seanyob smoked cancer sticks, Tak and I traversed out to this...
Tak points to his house....
Late afternoon ridge schralping....
OMG, SO BEAUTIFUL!
Tak finally heads toward our pickup location....
It was like our own little heli-run.....
Heh....
Jetlagged? No way. Break out the SUP....
Its Gore-tex right?
Stilling the spirits....
Dinner? Nah, lets head up Coronet Peak!
Its a Friday night, the music is right for Night Shredding....
Surprisingly awesome...
