3-19-09 Placebo Couloir

Drive south, then go up. Nohow demonstrates.

Donuts make it easier. Xover demonstrates.

Not sure.

Yeah, looks fun.

Nohow scopes the Placebo, into the shade on the right, off of zee top.

Nohow demonstrates skiing with skins.

The Pharaoh's built it.

What are those on your back?

Steady.......

Weather was severe.

More stuff to ski.

Per Lou Dawson, it doesn't count unless you wear 'em from the top, so.....

Nohow knows how.

Jtrue hopping on down.

Zing.....

The Placebo, in all it's glory.

Jtrue carves on the chalkboard.

Nohow parallel.

Xover, where the Placebo meets the Monster.

Hop Xover, hop.

Jtrue in the bowl.

Xover farming the corn field.

That pretty much says it all.

The walk back to the short bus was quicker than crossing the GMD parking lot.

Feeling pretty well relaxed.

you have had/made/produced some damn good TR's in your day (and thankfully i've been priviledged enough to be involved with some of them), but this one takes the f'ing wedding cake my friend from an all-around quality standpoint

the www, your photos, your "short but accurate words", your ability and your generosity have exponentially curved your TR skills thanks; was thinking I could add to that, but after seeing what you put up .... i think i might choose to leave well enough alone ... 'nough said about today

i love days like today with old solid friends, potential friends reconciled, new friends made ..... days like today take days or a week to fully soak up

p.s. fuck the shale

p.s.s. where is the pic of the 11's around that ball buster frozen snow boulder in the corn field; please tell me you got that shot?....?.....?

p.s.s.s. forgive my elementary knowlede of "Tour-bonics", but why placebo???

No video on this day. The skiing was quite slow and the video would be like watching paint dry. These were regular stills, not frame grabs.

Quality TR.....always love how you set up your shots.

The Placebo and Monster have been nagging at me since a failed attempt last year. Ski to the car ...or did you have to hike the road a ways?
