    Talking MPC #29 [B&W] - February 17 - March 3

    Since I was last contest's winner, I will be running this contest. The rules are below and the theme is:

    anything Black and White.

    THE CONTEST WILL BE RUNNING FROM FEBRUARY 17 - MARCH 3!

    The Rules:

    1. Photos must be taken within the time period of the contest.

    2. You may submit 3 photos during the competition.

    3. The contest moderator will choose 5 of the photos to put in a poll for the mags to vote on and decide the winner.

    4. The winner will get a happy feeling in his/her pants. (That is a rule by the way not an option)

    5. In the event of a tie, the contest moderator will have the deciding vote.

    6. Winner will be the contest starter/moderator for the next comp.

    7. The winner has 3 days to start a new contest or 2nd place becomes the new winner.

    I'm a jong at photography/editing. Don't even have photoshop yet. Any help on how to do that would be greatly appreciated.

    You can get it as a standalone application -- no Photoshop needed. It very quickly/automatically corrects the minor distortion caused by many lenses, which doesn't really matter in most situations except when you have lines that are supposed to be horizontal going all/most of the way across your photo (e.g., your photo, horizon lines).

    It's no big deal, just a minor suggestion.

    My first thought too. Interesting shot but the distortion captured my attention

    Be careful about buying snowboard goggles for skiing. Snowboard goggles come in right eye and left eye (for goofy-footers) dominant models. This can make it hard to see correctly when skiing because you are facing straight down the hill, not sideways.
