    TR: Missoula Xmas

The only way to fly, first class:

    Day 1:
    Pattee Canyon cross country.
The girls I like have ice mascara:

    Day 2:
Fun times at Lost Trail. First day chair 2 opened.

    Day 3:
Teaching the girlfriend to tele in the powder at the 'bowl.

Oh, and I poached west ridge all afternoon.

    Day 4:
More tele lessons and poaching west ridge.

West Ridge area is my favorite lift served run.

    Day 5:
    X-mas.

    Day 6:
A few runs down Whip Cream and poached second tracks on West Ridge, which we spend the rest of the day lapping.

Not sure what that was about, but I bet Mammoth will sue:

    Day 7:
They open west ridge. Make a couple and move on to poaching East and West Bowl.

    Yep:

    finely:

Warning: Results not typical! Be prepared for core shots, blown edges, crappy snow, slow lifts, dangerous road, poor service, cranky locals, over priced lift tickets, wind, sub zero temps, and rain when visiting Snowbowl. Oh and 4 inches on the snow report is really 1. Safest bet is to go to Whitefish or Bridger.

love the pix. the day after xmas was deep. the report said 7" and then the report for the next day said it was actually 16" for the previous day (that was the day after xmas). keep under-reporting all season.

is the "powder" tag yours? that classic jeep is killer.

nahh, that ain't the bowl. the bowl is really nothing but perfectly manicured corduroy greens and low angle hippie pow.

    More like southfacing deathcrust.

Ullr is pissed cuz there's no skin shots of the tele-babe.
