30 Minutes of Sunlight - Photos from Snowbird

Went up to Snowbird on the 24th. The snow was nice where it wasn't wind scoured but the weather was cold and windy and overcast so I kept the camera in the bag for most of the time. Then at about 12:30 on our way out to Mach Schnell for the 2nd time, the sun came out and lay a band of light down at the end of the Cirque just before Tower 3.

    Enjoy.

    Agreed.

Was the tram an accident? I'm guessing not.

Not an accident but it was my first (and only) attempt so I didn't know exactly where the Tram would line up. Here's the uncropped shot. Does anyone have a chainsaw I can borrow!

Haha. It took me a minute to understand what you meant.

Here's the blow up of that area. It looks like nobody is even looking our way. Probably all looking at the chute thinking "I know it's rocky as hell in there but it looks sooooo good.

    NOICE!

I like the uncropped better, but either way you got "suitable for framing" written on that one.

Me too. The other crop is for posting as a 400x300 horizontal that I do for the resort so I just throw them up here "as is".

Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.
