TR: The Fun Continues on the EC - Now w/ video!

    Video:

Its been snowing a lot recently, but you already know that, so I'll get on to the pictures.

Eric didn't follow soul_skiers warning to "never go on an adventure" with me. Despite being tired though, I think he had a pretty good time staying away from the lift lines last week.

    Heading out into the unknown.

Is this going to be worth it? The magic 8 ball says: "Sources point to yes"

Looking pretty good still. Dont forget to shake allen...

I dunno, this might be too pretty to be true.

Moon Skiing - Coming soon to a mountain near you!

    Allen - the pensive scenic.

    Emerging from the woods.

Showing up late to the mountain, yet avoiding the lines and still getting freshies = Priceless

I'm in there somewhere getting the face shot of the day.

Eric C. maybe not having too bad a time.

A reference from the EC thread: this is legit knee deep snow.

    Ahh, home sweet home.

Lets hope these open up a little....

Looks like they did, no we definitely didn't get lost, nope, not lost at all...

We interrupt this TR for a Public Service Announcement: Wear your helmet! This would have been a trip to the ER at best without one. Instead I got lucky with just a (likely) concussion.

Back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Scott, a guy I've known since elementary school and grew up skiing with decided to visit me from OHIO where he goes to school . We decided to show him what he'd been missing.

    Scott, regretting ohio.

My roommate decided to join us too:

Best thing about Burlington parking bans: Road Skiing.

Not sketchy enough for you? what if you knew that everyone used the same pair of skis and that the bindings were adjusted on the fly by headlamp.

    Allen logging some flight time:

Then running to hide in the trees.

Sort of thought this was a junk photo until I saw the goggles. Cool.

Scott again, now seriously considering a transfer to UVM.

    Ben went bigger:

So then Allen played his trump card, the big guy:

And Scott thought that it looked like a pretty damn good idea. FYI, to all those that say "this year I'll sack up", this was Scott's second day of the year, and he only skied 5 last year.

We meadow skipped our way back to the car and called it a day:

Wasn't very bad meadow skipping at that:

Thanks for checking out the photos, it was a great weekend out there.

And I never hear a single word you say when you tell me not to have my fun

I skied Stowe Monday and was pretty happy about it. Until I saw this report. And these photos. Now I feel all empty inside. Does anyone mind if I replace my memories of Monday with this TR? It usually takes about 9 beers and a moderate brain trauma.
