Squaw first day 08/09 season: ALL TIME...ALL TIME!!!

    .
    .

OMFG, off the charts. ALL TIME.

    I reiterate: ALL TIME EPICCCCCCCCCCC!
    .
    .

My younger son and I were overstoked so we made a verbal checklist to make sure weren't missing anything on this hstoric day of 12-06-08:

    1. Skis....check
    2. Boots....check
    3. Poles...check
    4. Helmets, goggle, gloves.....check
    5. Avy beacon, shovel, probe, harness....check
    6. Pack with water, food, flares......check
    7. Season pass......check
    8. Reality......next

We headed to the Exhibition lift and voila!

The Maritime snow pack sticks to the steepest lines allowing for
the ultimate thrill in the white room. We're talking 55....60...maybe 65 degrees in the video clip below:

Upper mountain looking ready to open tomorrow; closed today as avy
patrol couldn't get to it in time

CII, Headwall Face, top of Siberia, Broken Arrow, Tramface

    close up

KT looking ripe and ready to be plucked

    .
    .
    .

    Best part of the day:
Me standing on the side on my maroon 190 Exploders.
Skier across the hill looks and asks: "Are those the new fat powder skis or shaped skis?" This was indeed all time epic.

    .
    .

Actually, it was fun to get back on the sticks. It was more fun than
it looked. We hooked up with Oldtimer and Huckasoreass which is
always a treat if not an honor.

    Filling in nicely I see

I think it's wonderful that you are making an art with gay porn but it's
not my cup of tea. On a related note, the new rainbow graphic on the
    PM Gear Bro is suh-weet.

PM me. I'll try to read your MRI between laps.

    Wow.

I'll be there Jan. 22nd for a couple of days... Luckily things can change mighty quick in the Tahoe area.

I'll have meatdrink9 do the lighting for the shot. He'll make it artsy as fuck."

Holy sickter mcgnar! Can't believe I missed out on the insanity!

Ugh, it hurts. I'm actually paying to check out Heavenly tomorrow when I could ride Squaw for free. Disappointing.
