TR: Red Baldy, April 23

Went for first tram, but lost our hurry under grey skies. Why eat raw corn? After watching some of this

and drinking plenty of this at a friend's house at Alta

we decided we better mosey over to this

From the Tram we dropped into Mineral and then left the Bird's boundaries and entered Mary Ellen Gulch. We climbed up to the col between the East Twin and Geek Peak. Here is a photo of my counselor, Samuel, traversing across the south faces of the East Twin, West Twin, and Red Top to get to the East Pass of White Pine.

We climbed the E/S ridge of Red Top and skied a nice shot down into Amer. Fork. Counselor Sam.

Evidence of the dust storms we've been seeing in the last couple days.

Some of the Gnarlo Real del Wasatch. Timpanogos North Peak.

Evidence.

We punched it back up to East Pass and headed up the east ridge of West Baldy. I'M SO RAD I CLIMB SHIT!

Dropping into Whatever You Wanna Call It. Steep enough to drag not just a hand, not just a hip, but a shoulder!

Steep lovin'.

On the exit down White Pine we found a suitable companion for Sam.
