TR: Lib~Tech BANANA HAMMOCK in Chugach Backcountry 1/5/08

I can't say enough about how the Lib~Tech Banana Hammock rules the pow!!

2nd time on it and it just fucking rocks the pow like no other board ,,,,fakie or regular high speed you cant get the nose to sink it sticks out more than a boner in a whore house ,ok?

good times, decent conditions, soft wind affected pow... our ak block was only about 4ft to the ground, wind slab on top 3 to 4",then 8 to 12" semi consolidated, then a suspect hoar frost layer, several feet of swell consolidated snowpack sitting on facets at the ground...after several jumps on the block the only failure was the top wind slab, nd the block broke apart but never released on a layer...approx slope angle 36*


the hammock is so fun in soft snow its hudge!!!!!!!!!


also got som e good turns on variable snow conditions on my prior bc173 split this weekend......very tasty afternoon!!
