Just spent a week in Jackson on the new Cham 117= Full report, coming soon. Light, floats, smears, and absolutely charges like a Dynastar should.
They spent some time getting this dialed, similar to the Cham shape but different, lower profile tip, less abrupt sidecut taper, and some tail relief. Nice flex pattern, really easy to ski but the minute you want to charge it's still a Dynastar. It's a paulowina core, torsion box, no metal. (just like the current Cham High Mtn line). This will be a great addition to the quiver and not a bad touring setup.

Was told that for whatever reason the Cochise and Bodacious had somehow become incrementally stiffer through the years. Apparently those two skis specifically have become a little bit softer, on par with the first years production, but no real changes to the line as a whole.

Y'know Blizzard raided Volkl for personnel back when it started up again, and Goats were notorious for becoming incrementally stiffer every couple of years since 2004, 15% per topsheet was what one Volkl guy told me. Maybe it's a Volkl disease, and infected Blizzard.
