2TC I got that email you sent to Sentinel, pretty funny. Have you heard from him?
Thought you might like that. Yeah, he should be picking up his KH pass soon.

Another cloudy cool snow preserving day here in Banff. Maybe it'll stay this way. Some snow up high on the LL cams.

I thought that snow doesn't usually stick before thanksgiving...(?). I'm heading back to Aus for about a year so no skiing for me ;(. Be a shame to miss the winter but maybe I'll actually learn to surf properly. summer is going to hurt!

Hey, guess we won't be seeing you at SSV. It might not stick before Thanksgiving, but maybe you will be the "sacrificial white whale" and it's going to stick this time lol.

    When are you heading out?

we never end up skiing on the sept snow. It just helps to cool the ground, so that Oct snows can stick

whales all round... I just got back from chasing the big black+white ones round Van Island in a sea kayak. Heading off mid-Oct, I was hoping to sneak a couple of alpine routes in before then but its not looking promising with today's weather.

That KH midweek pass is a great deal.

I have no idea where to buy passes this season. Anyone know for sure where the good snow is going to be?

Only on the Super Early Bird rates (saves $178), after that not worth it only saves $40 or $51 which is strange

Wow, they opened pretty much the whole thing too, other than one PC (dunno the name of those chutes, but I've seen some pretty serious tracks in there). They also did that area at the end of redemption last season too, pretty cool stuff. Given the hike (even though it's short) I doubt it will get much more traffic than it did?

Congrats on the lay off. I've been laid off a few times and it always throws them for a loop when they break the news because instead of looking all worried as they would expect i'm sitting there with a smile or a smirk on my face. All I can think is fuck yeah, going on a climbing road trip or whatever as they blather on with the reasoning . Good time to fuck off to the mountains.
