People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

Dusted this off the other day. It's starting to feel like that time of year.

Holy shit.... were you at the Newmarket half this weekend? I can't read the numbers. A few friends ran that and I was there chilling at the finish line like a pussy.

If you were, I was standing in the grass lookers right just before the turn out of the parking lot.

Yeah my wife ran it. I was standing on the curb dead ahead of the runners. When ever someone got in my way I sighed loudly and they said sorry and moved. I was the one with the big white lens.

Haha, we probably bumped into each other without noticing. I was on the last shuttle after grabbing some brews. Since my girl runs I'm sure we'll bump into each other eventually.

At least you're at the right resort now

You're pretty far off on the location though.

I'm just glad you ski with friends who pull their fucking pants up where they're supposed to be so I don't have to look at their nasty sweaty boxers.

Yeah, I know. And so will bracketing as well. This is from a while ago before I started using NDs and bracketing my shots.

Ice melted off the lake/reservoir yesterday. Caught some of the last of the ice on the shore on the way home.
