Yeah I think there should be a thread giving up all the best fishing spots so that every fuckin' gomer yuppie Orvis boy can just hit TGR and find out where he should take his Eddie Bauer SUV loaded down with Abel reels and Sage rods with House of Hardy creels and Filson fagwear.

Are you really so serious about your brother's "guide" status that you can't laugh at the obvious humor?
Man, this forum has way too many yuppie poseurs with big attitude. How disappointing. I'm sure your brother is a way cool dude with fishing chops all the way to Siberia. I still don't see how that changes my P.O.V. on yuppie gomers.Last edited by uncle crud; 01-23-2007 at 10:53 AM.

Dude, I'm a Chairman of the Bored, Emeritus over there. In fact I'm about to start a thread on Your Favorite Luxury Ski Resort Amenities.
I thought you were right there with me.
I liked your parting shot across the bow at GapicSki. Just when it seemed that terminally boring was solidly defined by that place, they go and redefine it with a more extreme version of boredom.Last edited by uncle crud; 01-23-2007 at 11:06 AM.

Honestly I don't know who you've met, but I've read plenty of posts by phony pseudo-skiers who spend more of their time and money debating what custom patchouli-stinker ski to buy for the 23d pair in their quiver, or what $60,000 SUV or huge 4WD truck to buy as the best choice for ski hill road approaches.
Then there was the "what fly reel" thread where people actually argued in favor of $400 reels for small stream fly rods.
So I guess you're right.

This is a good one! If a FF forum is gonna have threads like this, my production level is going to suffer!
