if the lifts opened at 915 the wild cat line would have been about 40 people long. at 1045 i cant even speculate how many people were waiting for their fix.

such a bummer to have first chair on days like these

my car snowpine lot, parked at 2am this morning after a valley trip, took this picture at 5pm after skiing (15 hours) snow is basically up to the roof, not really drifted.

[QUOTE=nbt]I hugely appreciate and respect the work patrollers do to open the hill every day. I DO NOT look up and respect patrollers in general. I have lived solely in ski towns since I was 8 years old and patrollers are not that cool. They just think they are cool. The only people who think patrollers are cool are east infections and people who moved to ski towns late in life. I do appreciate the hard work in preparing a resort for skiing, but it stops there. QUOTE]

Just make sure that you never get hurt. Or if you do, make sure that you inform them that you think they are not cool, and that you don't respect all the extra time they spend training to save snot nosed piss ants such as yourself. We would all rather be skiing, but as a patroller, we sacrifice some of that to help others. We have 60 patrollers at my resort, and I can honestly say that although everyone is an individual, we stick together like family. If they aren't cool, we send them to your resort.

    Utards, enjoy the powder!

Low post count because I'm too busy working and then skiing, but not neccessarily in that order.

Funny you should mention Silver Fork. I spoke with a lady yesterday, who claims to live in Silver Fork, and was stuck there for over an hour. As she said, "Some asshole in a Suby blocked both sides of the road and was stuck!" I have no idea if this is true, but your comment reminded me of what she said.

I've already circulated this to all my sponsors. Damn it feels good to be pro. I've been working for so long towards this. I wanna start off by thanking TH for teaching me how to ski...

Best day of the year so far today
Thanks for taking one for the team Mr. Altagirl

The 3-4" that fell since close yesterday all came as graupel and the wind did it's thing of pushing that silkyness into just the right places

High T, East Greeley and Greeley Bowl should all open tomorrow; Patrol had to much rope, signs, gates, etc. to put up today.

    Enjoy!!

    Grizz,

Was that Alta Photo of The Day taken before or after your rad front flip?? When I left around 12:30, your tail marks were still very visible from Collins

    Nice thread eXtremeOver!

I skied the pow yesterday, and even a bit Saturday. Skied with DTM a bit, saw Z briefly, and caught glimpses of a few other mags through the mob. Powder is fun. I was more glad just to survive a few hours of skiing. Although I gave myself some gnarly side-huck-neck when I caught an edge talking over my shoulder to Mr. AG getting off the lift Saturday and took an insta-outside-edge-whipper to the ground. Oof.
    I'm so hardcore, I'm gnarcore.
