Sobering to see the slide in Tower 3 chutes knowing how many times I lapped that the last time I was at JH.

great pics. casper bowl looks to be fucked with all that hang fire
You all be careful down there. Just got back from whitefish same shit up there, had a snow field woomph on me and drop about 2 inches. Thank god the slope was only about 10 degrees. I couldnt imagine what to do if something went with skins on... Hope the snow pack gets a little better going to j-hole in 2 weeks
again you all be safe, not sure i will be going to BC around bozo for a while.
a positive attitude will not solve all of your problems, but it may annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Great pics UAN. I'm sure I'm not the only one that really appreciates these - have been forwarding them to interested friends/family.
^^^^
wow.
thanks for putting those up up.
The last one with all the people and the guy checking out the crown is crazy.
This isn't appropriately scary or anything, but damn the lower faces were fun this afternoon!
i have never seen such terrifying crowns while skiing in my life. Today was a sobering experience for myself. Were talking 4-10 foot crowns in places where we have all skied before. Laramie and Casper bowl...Holy shit. scary. Lets be safe out there for this next storm guys. This storm has some significant potential....familiar with a forecasted storm from exactly one week ago. lets be safe and have fun!

These pictures might have been posted already but I thought I'd throw this on here.

Good to see the note on the bottom. There is hope....
Cheers
UAN or others....
Those crowns look MASSIVE. Any sense on how big they really are? Is the 4-10ft stat legit? (not that I don't believe you, but a 10 ft crown this early in the season is nuts. )
flying out tomorrow morning. How is everything looking?
UAN - Wow! Great shots. What's with the people in the third shot? I guess they (JHMR patrol) feel they've stabilized the area well enough now that it's open. Don't know I'd be there even if it is.
i looked at those crowns yesterday and it still creeps me out to look at your photos.
Dang. This is some crazy stuff. Be careful out there folks.
