I've fondled them, even rented them out to people for a couple days.

    Pieces of crap.

We tried a bunch of models from Anton Gliders (not the newest ones yet) and skied the Carbon EX for several seasons now. Only for packed-snow surfaces. First ski that can really be adjusted from soft-to-firm and produce a difference you can really feel. Totally no fun in any snow over 1cm deep, but totally fun for laying tracks in the groomers. No gimmick. They carve without effort. I did not really like the ultra-thin models...only the Carbon EX, which is wicked fun. Nice workmanship and machining. Designed by a guy recovering from a hip injury who could not turn conventional skis for many months. They may look like a Frankenski, but the system works as designed and is very interesting. I know Leroy thinks their crap....not really a ski anyone at TGR might consider unless they were trapped on groomers. In my opinion, they're a riot to ski on....excellent carving tools (ditch your poles if you want).

    Some photos and reviews HERE.

These skis have come up on the forum before too. No, I'd never buy skis like these but given the chance I'd have nothing against trying them out. Could be a lot of fun on the groomers for half a day for some laughs. Hey, they might actually work. Or I could go ski the icy bumps on my 190cm, 120mm waist, TGR approved planks.

From what I've seen in the video's, they give absolutely nothing back at the end of a turn and therefore will ski like a dead fish. Take a lesson and learn to ski and how to work a ski...it will be infinitely more rewarding...
