Pretty soon a bunch of us are going to have our grubby little fingers on brand new Dynafits. Is anybody with a 11x17 printer willing to print and mail these jigs for a reasonable fee? Better yet, print them on sticky paper (like mailing labels) if possible?

    Nice one Phil,

although myself I'm always in too much of a hurry to print out and center paper jigs. I end up using the boot to calculate pin line from boot center and then a line down the middle of the ski is all I need to eyeball the mount. Sometimes they've been out a little but never enough to affect operation of the binding.....I really should take the time now this resource is available

I can print, not sure about sticky paper, but I can print on some nice thickish paper and mail out.

    sticky jig

So I found some vinyl adhesive at work and printed out one of pechelman's jigs and stuck it on some skis last night. It wont tare very easy, it sticks well but peels off real easy too. If I fold it up I can stuff it in an envelope and mail it out for standard postage.

Ya the only down side is it's very opaque. I have never used a paper jig, but I think this is way more stable and total cost is like $.80 to me.

I'll print up some and mail them out next week or the week after. PM me with your address and BSL. There is no warranty expressed or implied so measure your paper jig before you drill!! The copier is very good but I don't want some one to ruin there sticks.

post what you need and i can make it up

im not going to make something stupid though like a 314 when i already have a 315

just bias it up the width of a line and call it good
the heels on both have more than enough adj to compensate

So I have made some of these jigs and I'm checking them with a metal ruler and the BSL is short by 1mm, I'm not sure if its due the plastic shrinking from the heat or what. All the rest look ok. Is their any one I can send these to who can check them out? My scientific method is to hold a binding up to the jig, but that wont check the BSL. I don't want to send out low quality stuff.

which template is it youre having trouble with
ill double check it for you

ive never had any trouble with the ones ive printed and used

also, if the BSL length is really off by 1mm, that means your mount will be off by .5mm (not really much to worry about in most cases)

    also
double check you are printing 100% no scaling

Solly and dynafit 315 both come out about 1mm short. I'll print out some others and check them. I didn't think 1mm is a big deal, but Id rather have some one check them to be sure there good.

    ok
as best as i can tell with my crappy ruler here, the solly jig is good

the dynafit jig however was off by a tiny bit (~ .002"), and im about to upload the new version

ill double check these jigs at home with a good ruler tonight

also, be sure you're printing 100%, No Scaling

I think the PDF's are good, it's something on my end. I don't know if its the printer or the vinyl, but its 1-2mm short. I dont think it will make a big difference, but I'd like someone with more mounting experince to check them out. PM me an address and I'll send some to you.
