2015 Salomon Q-90 vs 2016 Head Monster 88
Looking for a frontside/all-mountain ski to handle the all-too-common hardpack/icy New England days, but with a little float in case the Snow Gods decide to unexpectedly deliver and I'm too far from home to pull anything fatter from my quiver. I have the opportunity to get either the 2015 Salomon Q-90 185cm or the 2016 Head Monster 88 184cm new for basically the same price. Any thoughts?

some say the red ones are better, but I've had good luck with the blue ones.
