Heading to Banff (no car) for a week with mrs in middle of feb...Id love to break away from her for some lift served BC laps at LL or SV. I carry big 3 (practice with them), AT setup, dont like exposure, hate tracks...just looking for steep stable powder turns. All I can offer is good vibes, trail breaking and numerous beers.

Do it. With that time frame i would aim for gothics, adamant or bobbie burns. Would even consider bugaboo. Higher elevation. Any choice you won't be disappointed. Several good "50 percent" off deals that end soon. A good friend manages adamant s and they have created several huge runs this year with a big glading budget. That would be my choice. If you go cmh budget and extra 30% above trip price for extra vert especially with the longer spring days

March will often be better snow. April you will be skiing high alpine north facing long runs most likely. March got can still play in pow lower down.

Oh my, it is cold in Canada. Had to warm up after 1 hour this morning at Sunshine.

off to ski pano, then kimberly, and fernie for a few days. Ya, rocky mountain passport!

It's been abnormally cold and dry since Christmas. Jumbo area had lots of precipitation early in the season and was a typical snowpack. I can not even guess as to what conditions are like now, inversions have been happening for over week, -25/-30 at lower elevations and -15 at 7500'.
As to Rk skiing the lower elevation terrain below the cabin... I think it's bullshit.
Used to be able to rent the cabin a few weeks out, since the fucking jumbo wild movie came out its booked 2 months out and now the society will do advance bookings for extra cash.

How are conditions up there now? Looks like the firehose has been down here in 'Merica. Interested in Golden area.

Yeah. I'm at Burnie Hut in NWBC. -25, wind fucked alpine. Lots of good food and wine though... have fun out east boys...

^ha, if the highway ever opens. has been closed in both directions since yesterday. Keeps all the red plates out. Unfortunately also kept the red plate weekend crowd IN! hill sounds like a gong show today, heard 1hr lift line at boom this morning.
