Have any Maine people ridden the Gorham trails (non-Mainers as well)? Was thinking of exploring tomorrow but info is kind of hard to come by.
Quite fun, sugaree area is great. I parked behind the high school. Make sure you go under the highway to the Rock and roll trails

Never even thought to use shrink wrap, great idea.

Gorham didn't disappoint. I need to get back so I can explore some of the trails behind USM.

Just use wide enough to cover just a bit more than edge to edge pulled tight. You still need to use a strip if your rim is drilled/cut out like a lot of fat rims.

I have to agree with everybody, today was a great day to be in the woods on a mt bike.

Cool setup vtf, really makes the red pop through the black tire.

Is that in Johnson? Kinda looks like the view from Prospect Rock there..

Some of the less frequently used trails are getting tough to find. I had to come to a complete stop a couple of times the last few days to figure out where to go. Pretty kickass weather to be confused in though.

Anyone gonna be at Vermont Academy this afternoon for the NNEHSMTB race? I'm bringing three aspiring racers and I'm pretty stoked.

Agree on the comments that the rain and leaves are making it slick out there. All 4 of us tumbled at some point during yesterday's ride.

Drop your tire pressure a few PSI and be safe!

^^ Or get fat and run ~8psi and have loads of traction. Wet leaves are always challenging but the low pressure helps take the edge off the small unseen hits.

Anyone have a 29" hardtail (or 2) in good working order you would be willing to loan or sell on the cheap to a HS MTB racer? We have a couple of capable, fired up, but cash strapped kids racing on beater bikes.

A shot in the dark, but I figured why not.

What sizes? I'll keep my eyes open as I'm in and out of a bunch of shops the next few weeks.
