Already 5" on ground since last night and it's absolutely hammering right now here in Routt Cnty. Probably a foot already at Mt. Werner, 7" showing on cam already. Too bad mountain is closed but that's how it goes. I'll get turns regardless.

This is the kind of storm that always underdelivers for the ski areas. Evergreen will probably get like 4-feet though.
During upslope events, they will predict 3-feet of snow at loveland, and they will get 3-6 inches. everywhere west of that will get about 2".
OTOH if you see Northwest flow and 2" predictions, plan for a pow day.

It's hilarious how many people complain about these late storms. Obviously not us and avid skiers. But it's these type of storms that help us not repeat the summer of '12 where the whole Front Range was ablaze in June. I keep telling people to embrace it and who the fuck cares anyway. The snow in town will be gone by Tuesday.

Should be start taking bets on when I70 closes and how many times it'll close over the next 24 hours?
I predict another shitshow of epic proportions when the sun goes down.
