Props to Bluehouse
Just got off the phone with Jared at Bluehouse. Had a great conversation concerning the skis and some other skis on the market.
I just wanted to give them props for their great customer service. Jared called the number listed for me (my parents house) as there was a mix-up when I registered my skis and he thought I might have a problem. I haven't even seen them yet, I'm in Sweden, skis are in Montana but I am already very pleased with the way this company is handling their customers.
Jared- Good to hear you are expanding the line a bit, thanks for the informative conversation!

seems like a cool ski and a great company....but has anyone flexed these things yet? They seem soooo soft. Torisionally soft anyway, you could pretty much totally twist them into a full 360.

Actually that isn't true. They are definitely soft but they seem to flex softer than they are because its a very round flex. They are decently stiff torsionally actually (I believe this is said to be one of the benefits of a bamboo core).Originally Posted by Odin

I have the Districts. They are very torsionally stiff. I'd liken the flex to mid-front of a crud-busting machine, so decently soft. They flex VERY soft in the hand, like "holy shit I can snap these in half" soft, but I hear that on the slopes they feel much stiffer. Another thing I've heard and haven't been able to completely confirm is that they have a very even flex along the entire ski, like a good tele ski. This seems to be true, but only time will tell. Definitely more of a quiver ski.

I touched a pair of Districts the other day. The first thing I noticed (besides the topsheet being misaligned) was how soft-flexing they were. I didn't notice how torsionally stiff they were, however.10/11 days on snow: 5
