A Maggot/Minion has fallen from the path.
I'm writing to bring a most serious matter to the attention of the Maggot/Minion community. One of our number has fallen from the true path.
Despite having at least three season passes, despite being unemployed with other means of financial support, and despite easy proximity to world class skiing, this poor soul has failed to live up to the promise of his situation. The season began well enough. Hard snow, soft snow, no snow, lines were skied, stoke was posted, and life was lived near to it's capacity. Recently however, we (this person's concerned friends) have noticed an alarming trend. The number of ski days per week has declined to a frighteningly low number. Rationalizations are being made. "I'm too tired", "The snow sucks", "I'm bored with <insert name of home region>" and general apathy are the excuses given.
Please join me in urging our fallen Maggot back to the high standards of his predecessors in winter unemployment.

Okay okay, this is a very noble effort, I actually have friends trying to do the same thing with me. However, if there is something this particular person is more devoted to and enjoys more when the snow sucks, isn't that a good reason do do this other activity, whatever it might be?

Must be from skiing on those flaccid Volkls. Give the man some real skis and perhaps some turgidity is a possibility.

Hey, it's not me. After my battle with hill management, my 12 year pass run ended. After my battle with corporate management, my 13 year employment run ended too. I wish I would have known the coincidence was going to happen.
Still isn't me though. I wasn't living in Montgomery Estates, 5 minutes from Heavenly, and 45 from K-wood, unlike some other(s)...

It unfortunate to someone missing out on what all of the rest of us wish we had.

I'm at 49 days so far, and I'm a full-time corporate whore who lives 2 hours from the "mountain." If you can't hit 100 days living in SLT with no job, you don't deserve any of those passes.
