I saw that as well. No vents. It looks like a mighty warm jacket. If it is packable so you can stash it and just pull it out when you stop that would be cool. Is it too bulky for that?

This jacket is a warm one. It is great when the entire day sits around zero degrees. however this is not one to stash in the pack it is just a tad bit too bulky.

it's actually kind of on the heavy/bulky side. I bought one from BC.com last winter and it was a nice jacket but not quite what I expected. It also wasn't as warm as the Marmot down jacket I was hoping to replace.

edit: when I say not as warm, I was talking about below 0 days. On really cold days I could feel the wind coming through parts of the jacket.

boilerplate is more of an around the town jacket in my opinion. Would not recommend for a ski specific jacket

Tried on the "Spoken word" jacket around August.
It's a decent corduroy blazer. Though, I saw a nicer one at J-crew,
I have patagonia credit and it looks like Xmas has come early!
