    When Will ASC go broke

    well given the fact that they just sold off a chunk of K mart base area to try to give themselves some breathing room how long will it be untill they can't make a go of it anymore
    For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

    that last option is just plain hilarious. The only thing that can save them is a ridiculous EC season next season, as in solid snow and and no thaws or rain from Lat Oct. to mid April.

    Well, you know, they essentially are broke, much like Donald Trump has been broke for some time now.(Yes, it's true. The asshole owes people a LOT of money)
    The Bass people bought the obligations some time ago and have been selling off assets, and now are looking at some absurd shylock interest rates. Killington may be bought by Vail this off season (I hope - anything has to be an improvement), and then maybe we'll see Vail come into the east and create a megaresort thing that they've done in Co.. Yeah, yeah, bitch and whine about big resort companies, but skiing in Colorado is much cheaper than anywhere else in the country. I paid $600 last season for unresticted passes to 6 mountains and 10 days at Vail. Top that in the east.

    It isn't necessary to imagine the world ending in fire or ice. There are two other possibilities: one is paperwork, and the other is nostalgia.

    You didn't provide the "Not soon enough" voting option!

    I've heard the Vail takeover rumors all winter (and prayed for them to be true). I'm a season pass holder at K-Mart and have seen the deterioration over the past few years. An ASC break-up or sale of K-Mart can't come soon enough.
