I ride on gravel...I don't grind. Too trendy.
I have owned a couple nice road bikes in the past but for me if it can't handle a bit of rough stuff I'm not interested. Its a sweet ride. Full Carbon frame from Kona with tubeless 32 c tires. It was origannly designed as a road bike that could take full fenders and 28s...Didnt take long to figure out wide tires fit. I love it. I carry co2s and go as low as 50 psi for the fun stuff then pop it back up to 80 for the slog home. Once it stops raining I will post up some more pics of the places it takes me.

About the goggs. Stoke, the one in the lead in the last pic, aka jerkface asshole, recently ate my bike helmet, and my riding glasses. so ski helmet and goggles it is for the time being.

Epic riding in Pocatello Idaho. No, really. This is from Sterling Justice, but the loop that goes around Slate Mountain is as good as anything. http://www.mtbproject.com/trail/5741266
And the flowers, did I mention the flowers?

With the exception of some stupid long lift lines, it was a fabulous weekend to be riding lifts at Sundance. Saw Mr AG and Mr&Mrs Boris for the first time in a long time which was great. Little man decided too late that he wanted to do the Super D race and it had filled up. He was pretty bummed, so we went back on Sunday and timed a "race" run. He had his best lap of the weekend and crossed the line in 17:15. That was about 2 minutes off the slowest kid in the 12&under category, which isn't bad considering that he would have been the youngest and the only one on 16" wheels and full rigid. We'll be at the Nordic Valley Super D in July for sure!
Checked out the Ogden bike park yesterday. The riding wasn't really worth the drive, but they found a sweet cliff to huck off of and we saw a monstrous gopher snake. The Ogden park would be great if you lived there though. There are some nutty dirt jumps that look like they never get used. It was like finding the ruins of a lost high flying civilization.Last edited by Dantheman; 05-31-2016 at 03:07 PM.

Did you do the "shuttle" green, blue lines from the top? I've only casually checked it out once as it isn't my thing, but the berms and small jumps seemed fun.

Those trails were fun, just not worth the drive from Sandy compared to going to Draper or Trailside. If we lived in Ogden we'd be there all the time. The big tabletops near the dual slalom course are pretty awesome but not much fun for the kiddos.

After a few days of much needed rain the sun came out the last two. Conditions were mighty fine today. Forest was so lush
