Flash flooding on Captain Ahab. One of the cooler experiences I've had on a bike.

leave work, be at the trail in 5 minutes? sure!

This was too much driving, state website said 8 mi loop, they meant 8 km loop lol

Took the girlfriend for a pedal, good day for it

And no bike related really but the top of the Rossland Range was neat

Hard to see but colors are just starting to happen.

Also a shout out to buddy Simon who finished 7 out of 14 in class on his first Revenge of the Rattle Snake Race in the Canaan hinterlands.

A few pics from last week in Idaho.

    Big Casino Creek

Looking down before we descend Antz Basin. Yes, that's the trail down there.

I finally got my shit together enough to make it a couple hundred miles away for a few days this summer.

Didn't leave empty handed, er, cooler'ed.

Good old fashioned mountain bikin! Where's the flow trail man? I do love me a flow trail now and then though.

    Ride the white wave man!

My two station wagons with a half million miles between them are currently out of commission, but hey, at least the Slayer hasn't come apart on me yet.

It's been a fun summer, too short.

powpig, funny I was riding antz basin loop and Little Casino to Big Casino loop last week also.

tone, nice shots. If I move back to Missoula I think I would spend a lot of time out there on a bike...assuming it isn't Wilderness by then.

Good timing... here are three from Kenosha Pass this afternoon. Absolutely beautiful. My buddy ate shit a couple of times trying to take in the scenery while he was hauling ass down the singletrack.

Nice photos Steve! Wish I had something to share from this week, but my only riding partners that early in the AM have been the dogs, and they don't know a damn thing about enduro...

One year I was rolling through those super tall ass stands all sound of happy, flat trail. Just end over end over my ass damn near landing on a hiker. Gravel down my back, scraped all to hell. Tis the season there for sure.
