It's officially fall in NJ too. The new bike is crushing it on our "Flow? What flow?" endless rock gardens. Perfect weather today.

We escaped the storm in Colorado, rode Sidewinder out of Olathe yesterday, Hartman's in Gunnison today. Here Panchosdad gets a technical section on Rocky Ridge.

That ride out over Hawk Hill and down to Rodeo Beach is one of my favorites. Perfect for an after work or quick ride.

I rode my road bike on the gravel once, but didn't go back. Back in August I saw whales swimming and jumping out in the mouth of the bay coming down this road.

My regular go to lap. Always a good view and work out, just have to avoid the scud missile tourons on the bridge.

I keep missing the lost trail bike fest, but a few of us went down there last weekend and did the warm springs trail. From the top of the ski hill it's generally flat/rolling along ridgetops and then downhill to the road, nearly 20mi total.

    You have pretty decent views

Think that snow covered mtn out there is Warren peak in the pintlers. Don't get a great view of the bitterroots until the end when you are descending to warm springs

All that stuff in the foreground burned in a huge fire in 2000, like 350k acres.

Most of the riding is pretty easy and you move along quickly

There are a couple of side trails that descend down into warm springs valley earlier that I hear have more fun descending but then you are riding out on the road for awhile. The main trail drops down right to where our car was parked a few hundred yards off highway 93. It would be easy to get 2-3 laps in during a day at the shuttle fest and get them all.

A few sections are a little more fun, and at the end you drop down 2500ft to the road so that is a good time
