Made it up to Blanchard Mountain today for an afternoon ride. The recent moisture has the the creeks flowing.


There was a little bit of snow up top but the trails were pretty prime for the most part.



We came across this fella around the first bench, he was kind a dick about it but I was able to get a couple of pics.




Let the steeds take a rest while we checked out lizard lake, which was a little slushy around the edges.




The south facing side which we descended was money, no hikers to boot. Couldn't slow down enough to warrant taking out the camera.

Nice! Location? Looks like somewhere I need to ride.

Wissahickon Valley in the soul of Philadelphia. Probably around 35 miles of techy, fast, and flowy trails that can be put together in various loops. Absolutely awesome to have. I'm not a native east coaster, and I was more than pleasantly surprised to discover these trails.
