WTB: ss disc 29er rear wheel
I am fat. My riding lacks finesse. I need a new wheel. Anyone?

if you build one one Alex rims TD17 is burly 29er rim for cheap. Last longer than Delgado if you ain't got finesse.

for a 29er i'd strongly suggest a SS-specific hub (wider flanges=stiffer, stronger wheel).
in case you do end up getting a wheel built:
one awesome budget-but-quality route is the Dimension SS hub. Jensonusa (as I recall; might have been pricepoint) sells them for around 80 bucks. talked to a SS guru mechanic on the east coast who says the dimension is super bomber, very durable freehub and bearings. And down the road, parts can be ordered for it if something goes wrong. When you consider than the eno freewheel costs 70-90 bucks (in addition to the cost of the surly or paul hub of course), whereas w/ the dimension freehub you can put on an inexpensive aluminum rear cog and change ratios easily, this works out to be a $$ saver.197 Katanas for sale, very low miles.
