Tarpon for Teleee
Here you go Teleee, some Tarpon stoke.
I like this Video since it captures a lot of what really happens AFTER you hook a Tarpon. It's the stuff fishing shows edit out.
It's also the ammo you use to give your friends shit about at the end of the day over cold beer/Rum and cigars.

Hook,
Thanks for the memories, all of the footage of the dude setting the hook and ending up with a gigantic spool of line as the fish breaks off....

make it quick will you?
i have a week long trip up on the mo next in a couple weeks, and plan on getting a stripping basket before i leave. probably going to order something end of this week.
how do you think that thing would work for wading western rivers or fishing out of a drift boat or raft? i had looked at the hip shooter, but it looked like it would be rather bulky. my plan was to get the willy joe or kennebec stripping basket, but the hip shooter looks like a good idea. i like to fish streamers and line management gets to be an issue when you are knee deep in a fast moving river."They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."
