    A rolling convex slope in Alaska, and NO major sluffing?? That just looks bizarre.

    If I was on that slope, I would be scared shitless - it looks like it could crack at any time.

    It looks like it already did. Lower bottom right. Still, it looks like it could go more.

    nope, that's a bergy! (bergschrund) a large crevasse where the glacier is being pulled away from the upper snowfield by gravity.

    Pretty hard to predict a slopes stability from a PICTURE dont ya think...How are you sure its going to "crack at any moment". Granted you can judge some things from a pic but to be able to predict its stability would be pretty tough....
