There are Bluetooth transmitters that you can connect to your computer, then you have a Bluetooth receiver you plug into your stereo. I looked into them a year ago, seemed like the good ones were $150 or so, havent checked since then.

if you mean you want to stream music from your computer to your stereo, you can get the apple airport express base station and use airtunes. You can't control the computer with your stereo, but you can cue up some music from your imac, then listen to it over your stereo wirelessly.

I've been using one of these for a couple years now. Works great as a wireless router and the ability to wirelessly stream music from iTunes to your living home stereo system is pretty cool. I think they sell for right around $100.

    ROKU!!! Get a SoundBridge.

My roommate had one that we used with my Rhapsody account and it's amazing. Hooks into any UPnP music server (i.e. Rhapsody, iTunes) over a 802.11b network and allows you to access playlists, artists, albums, etc. with the remote control. Hit play, and boom!

SOOOO Hawwwt. Not kidding. I can't think many things that are better for what you want.

Another possibility is to get a wireless bridge and hack an old xbox to install xbmc: http://www.productwiki.com/microsoft...0-minutes.html

I'll also vouch for the Airport Express. Works great for streaming audio.
