For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

Okay, to clarify here a little...

Spoke to Tim today - his shop did NOT get theirs yesterday (10/18), or today. He did get some floor demo models, but that's it. However, he did talk to Marker, and I guess his big shipment - probably a semi full - shipped today, so sometime next week. Also clarifying Bozeman got a couple pairs, which all sold immediately, but they'll be getting some more in coming weeks.

Anyway the stoke is on its way. It's particularly brutal for me, as I have a pair of already drilled skis sitting in my garage, waiting for their bindings. They look naked just sitting there.

Damn another week. Oh well there's still time before the snow really hits.

Thanks for the update though! I'm stoked!

Thanks for the update! How did you get those drilled already? I was up at Bridger yesterday and it was still a bit too bony to ski over at PK, but the sledding was awesome. So that's keeping me from feeling too bad about my lack of touring setup so far.

Well I bought these skis (another pair of K2 Kahunas) off of a CO mag, and had him ship them to marshalolson. He's had a pair (and a jig) since last year, so he drilled them for me.

I've been looking pretty longingly at Mt Ellis the last couple days, it's not too far from where I live. However my holdup is that I haven't had my Endorphins fitted at all yet, not even had the liners baked, and I really need to get on that - they're pretty painful to put on out of the box. Well not painful necessarily, but quite tight, and the shell fit's spot on - so it's definitely the liner. Maybe I'll knock that out this weekend.

Also I need to run more and drink less. I think that'd help too!

Just talked on the phone. He's got all the Larges and a portion of the Smalls and will be starting to ship by next week. Could take a bit longer to get the rest of the Smalls in.

A really important point he wanted me to communicate on here to anyone in on this or anyone that even knows about it: DON'T TALK ABOUT THIS. Don't say "marker group buy" or mention the price, and absolutely don't say anything inside a ski shop. Word is getting around and people are pissed. You'll receive his personal comments on this soon. I know mentioning it on here is posting in a public place... but that's what he wanted and it's already all over this board anyway. I'd suggest that you realign your brain cells to remember that you paid full retail at some far-away shop and you don't remember the name of the place.

Man I can't believe I'm this stoked about Markers. To facilitate more drooling:

It's not so much that this could get messed up for us, it's keeping others out of trouble...

I'm just as bad as the next guy but I think a great way to get this off the radar would be to stop posting on this and the other Duke thread.
