    Question for Flex Developers

    Is it possible for a Flex application to write or modify an new/existing xml file, or can Flex only use an xml document as a data source, with the xml needing to be generated by an application server?

    I'm clear on using Flex in a tiered structure in conjunction with PHP or ASP.NET and your database of choice, just haven't come across information addressing the issue of writing xml data directly.
