Thread: SoVT people- even rent your house?

Homeowners/ renters. Do you go through a realestate co? Which one? How much do you get/night during holiday weeks/weekends? Own a house 3/4 mi. from Magic we might be renting..

with all the views so far, y'alls MUST have some knowlege on this, no? Even 2nd hand? 3rd hand?

I rent my place over the holiday's (4 weeks out of a season) and it helps pay the mortgage and stuff.

do you use a real estate co? how much do you get? How big is your place? we've got 4 br in Londonderry.. Any advice is much appreciated!I'll by you a few Long Trails @ Jakes-Thanks!

I'd try cyberrentals.com - it's a great site for both owners and renters. It coast like $60 for a 3 month listing w/ photos. You might also try some local area sites and word of mouth. It's worked for me. I ski at Magic any time there is snow and my place is about 10 miles away - right near Hampstratton.

Slumlording already eh?? I have some good friends that rent out their place up there through a local realtor. I'll see who does it for them, they have a waiting list so they must be doing something right.

We'll have to form up the Magic crew for the upcoming season eh? Elevens?

I'm there all the time. Love the place and have been doing some "hiking" this summer.

Jan. 4th last year was amazing 20" and fresh all day long.

Magic is the best skiing in Southern VT - hands down.

Aldo- Yep- wouldn't rent it out for all the ganj in Humbolt County but those bills are making the mrs. a little stressed and we're going to be doing the dance of the living dead w/ the inlaws every xmas/new years for the forseeable future anyway, so might as well. If you do use a real estate agent - they typically take about 15% - just food for thought. I rented my place in about 3 weeks after listing it on cyberrentals.com - I highly recommend it.

Try www.vrbo.com. I used them for the west, but there's plenty in Vermont.
