Great suggestion, DO IT! I think anyone who could do this will be pleasantly surprised and feel just fine picking up a pair! I'd say get a pair of both, the Mr's will make an excellent all conditions ski for those resort days with little to no new snow. A bit stiffer than the Districts, probably similar to the K2 Public Enemy.

Yeah, I'll take you up on the offer to fondle the Districts in person. PM me the number you want me to call and we'll work it out.

feel free to jong me on this, but will any bigger/stronger guys bring the Districts on the occasional trip through the park? I'm torn as to get those or the 179 MR, because I already have my EC mid-fat (non-twin) covered. WWMD?

The sale is on the same terms as it was from the start. You guys act like this is some top secret sale for everybody who pre-registered.

Bluehouse has been upfront about the sale since they first decided to do it and nothing has really changed. I don't get why everybody is so uptight about keeping the starting time secret, it’s posted in this thread probably 10 times or more.

If you don’t know when the sale starts by now, you probably haven’t been following this thread or don’t care...

I was teetering on the fence before, but I just saw my paycheck deposited and decided its time for some new sticks. I know its close to crunch time, but I'm torn between the Districts and the 179 MRs. I have a pair of 174 Public Enemies that I've been using as my everyday east coast ski, but I need to add something for my days out west/ softer snow days around here. I'm 5'8" 165 lbs. Is the District too much ski? Would the MRs be too much overlap? Would I want something longer than the 179 when it gets deep? It's not really time to start building a quiver yet, but I'm itching for some new skis.

    orlowskij:
I ski the 101 Watea. It's 101 at the waist (big surprise), 191cm long, and I am expecting it to be a little stiffer than the District. It is not too much ski. It actually works out about perfect being smaller on a softer ski. Me: 5'9" 170lbs. Watea has a half twin/swallow tail to it. So running length would be about 4cm longer.

If you're increasing length, you'll love the extra stability at speed. I went from the 177cm karma to the 191 watea's and I was wondering what the hell I had been doing on the Karmas.

    hope that helps

Shit...I was going to sell my maden's and buy some line bacons. But looks like im going to go for some District's and keep the madens, haha. I'm stoked on the idea of a new company looking for rider's input, I just hope I like the bamboo core, but sounds pretty damn sick! See you guys at midnight.

Instant Meltdown with hundreds of people hitting it. I actually ordered 2 and it took me to my empty shopping cart1?!?!? Then:

    Please contact this site's webmaster.
Wait a few minutes and use your browser's "Back" button or click here to try again.

If you are the webmaster, your account may have gotten this error for one or more of the following reasons:
    • Your account has used more than its share of the cpu in the past 60 second sliding window.
    • Your account has too many concurrent processes running simultanously.
    • Your account has consumed too much memory.
    • Your site was recently very busy trying to run inefficient scripts.
The solution would be to optimize your applications to use less CPU.
Adding appropriate indeces to your SQL tables can often help reduce CPU.
Using static .html documents instead of painful .php scripts will practically eliminate CPU usage.

    The sale is on.

The site is getting slammed right now. Be patient if it takes a while.
