Can it get any hotter?
Montana has been under direct fire from the UltraMegatron3000 FlameBlower for the past month. Holy shit, I need to purchase a massive AC or something.
Going on 23 days above 90 (and its the 24th) in July.
Maybe this means will have a huge winter OR maybe we won't have one at all?

Ya, I heard it was hot outside. For the first time in my life I'm living in a place with AC. I was taking a nap the other day and I woke up all chilly and cold. I then had to go outside to warm up and sure enough it was 99 damn degrees. So I went back inside.

yesterday in bulgaria, a country with a temperate climate, all 43 weather stations in the big cities registered temperature records with readings between 104 and 110 degrees F (40-45C). in some places the records were absolute (i.e., more than ever recorded, for any day of the year).

Hmmm, 77 and a nice gentle breeze. I think I picked a good summer to spend in Switzerland. =)

Are you joking? You are complaining about temps in the 90's?
Central California is usually over 100 more days of July than not and we've hade lovely temps in the 80's and 90's this month so far, aside from one hot streak around the 4th that only lasted a couple days.
Also we have had more rain this year in California in July than we had in January. I don't think that has ever happened before.

Yeah it has been too hot in MT for July. But the fire season potential has been extreme and so far we have been lucky with only a few flare ups (at least around here).
It is only a matter of time before we start talking about all the smoke and the hot temps take a back seat.

Talking about some smoke...visible to the north of the Gore Range...Been raining hard and snowing a little here (above 13,000feet), today's the sixth day weather moves east to west. Intense storms along the divide after sunset the last six days. A lot of rain, so it's really green here. A lot of lightning. Verga. There's always some smoke to talk about in rado.
